What is a Make in India Certificate?
The Make in India Certificate certifies that a product is manufactured or assembled in India, aligning with the Government’s 'Make in India' initiative to promote local manufacturing. Step-by-Step Process
- Select Product: Identify product(s) manufactured or assembled in India.
- Understand Local Content Requirement: Determine Class-I, Class-II, or Non-Local category.
- Calculate Local Content: Use the standard formula, including Indian raw materials, labor, services.
- Prepare Documents: Compile registration proofs, cost sheets, invoices, and affidavits.
- Submit Application: Fill and submit the form to a QCI-approved or authorized agency.
